Alumni Staff Currently Employed at BHA

Sarah Abdulqader

BHA Class of 2010

  • Attended the University of Texas at Dallas
  • Earned a Bachelors in Psychology and Child Development, received her EC-6th grade teaching certificate, and is ESL certified. She is currently working on a Masters in Education.
  • Works as a fourth grade teacher
  • This is her fourth year working at BHA
  • Fun fact: She loves coffee and has a picture of herself as a young child at the BHA land breaking ceremony, framed in her classroom.

Zaira Abubaker

BHA Class of 2002

  • Attended The University of Texas at Dallas and Southern Methodist University
  • Earned a Masters in Counseling and a Bachelors in Interdisciplinary Studies with a teaching certification
  • Works as a student guidance counselor
  • She has worked for four years as a teacher and as a counselor for four years
  • Fun fact: she was part of the first graduating class of BHA.

Fatma Almaawiy

BHA Class of 2012

  • Attended The University of Texas at Dallas
  • Earned a Bachelor of Art in Interdisciplinary Studies with a Teacher Certification for EC-6th grade
  • Works as a second grade teacher
  • This is her first year working at BHA
  • Fun fact: she loves watching and playing basketball.

Fatimah Elnashar

BHA Class of 2006

  • Works as main campus librarian
  • Currently attends Southern New Hampshire University
  • She has worked at BHA for over seven years

Saja Omran

BHA Class of 2011

  • Attended the University of Texas at Dallas
  • Earned a Bachelor of Art in Interdisciplinary Studies with a Teacher Certification for EC-6th grade
  • Works as a first grade teacher
  • This is her third year working at BHA
